Real estate in Dubai is all set to go green. The Emirates Green Building Council is ready to commence talks with real estate builders in Dubai and other emirates. The council will encourage real estate developers to build eco-friendly “green buildings”. In order to make the green building model more popular in the real estate market of the emirates, the Emirates Green Building Council is also working towards collaboration with the respective government departments. The implications are all the more profound for upcoming real estate hubs in the UAE such as Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.

What is a green building?

Green building is the process by which the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a building is modified in order to increase its efficiency in terms of energy consumption and usage of resources. This is done with an aim to reduce adverse effects of the same on human health and environment. Most of the time, green buildings are not only ecologically harmonious but also aesthetically compliant with their surroundings.

Advantages:

• Reduction in environmental impacts
• Reduction in operating costs
• Less usage of water and energy resources
• Improved air quality
• Increased productivity
• Improvement in public health

I use a method that can save over 50% of a buildings heating and cooling bill, this saving after several years pays for the cost and goes on for many many more years to do more of the same as well another benefit a similar percent reducing emissions from the building that cause global warming.
Electricity Use, I have an innovation that makes the use of electricity much more efficient.
